Old Cross Inn

I came for breakfast and it was absolutely beautiful! The staff were very attentive and extremely kind and were happy to answer any questions I had. The whole atmosphere was very welcoming, if I could give them more stars I would do so. Will definitely be returning and have recommended old cross inn to my friends and family. Thank you guys!

We’ve dined here several times previously and always enjoyed, but tonight was our first ‘Steak Night’ meal. Everything, and I mean everything, was absolutely fantastic - the food was tasty, hot and freshly cooked. Our first time but it won’t be our last… Can highly recommend

I came to the Old Cross Inn when the food festival was on and me and my husband where sitting outside as the weather was so nice! I actually read through the most recent reviews and I was there when that lady was eating her food outside the pub. I was listening in (I’m nosy) and I’m actually shocked at what the lady has said as none of that happened. I was just going to write a review about the atmosphere but don’t think it’s fair for the staff to have to read something like that when it’s false and customers for that matter too. There where three lady’s, eating their food, the one in the green dress came over to explain that can’t eat their food they didn’t buy from inside, rightfully so! They kept eating and then another girl who I later found out was charlotte, the landlady and she actually said the same as the one in the green dress that she can’t eat her food outside because of food poising… she never told the three lady’s to leave so I’m not sure where she got that from. I also think it’s our right rude she has made a comment on someone’s appearance when they weren’t involved ij the situation at all. Anyway I hate negativity and didn’t want to write about this and just wanted to write about my lovely day but that’s despicable what that lady wrote. So thank you to the staff for a lovely time at the pub, me and my husband will most likely be back when the weather is nice again. Don’t believe everything you read online as some people get a kick out of lying and ruining business because they can’t get their way. Love Angela and Mike xx

Great place, incredible food - despite the regular chef being unavailable and having a temporary one fill in. Reasonable prices too, for two pints and meals it came to £35.

My husband and I popped into Old Cross Inn today for a spot of lunch. Well what a beautiful meal we both had all cooked fresh. So we decided to have dessert, omg it was amazing and it didn't break the bank. The staff were lovely certainly we be going back keep up the amazing work
